“Thappadmaar” angry and arrogant collector in Chattisgarh has been transferred by the chief minister Bhupesh Baghel after his vedio exhibiting him badly behaving, slapping and smashing the phone of a mask wearing youngster went viral in social media today and thereafter news channels also telecasting the controvertial news.

This shabby incident of a dictatorial collector allegedly behaving like an uncontrolled bureaucrat abruptly slapping, smashing a phone and then asking his policemen to thrash him with lathies in public for no fault of his, very much reminds us of a similar incident that happened in AGARTALA few months ago when a district magistrate earned the ire of several lawmakers who’d written to the chief minister demanding immediate action against the erring DM of Agartala, who had not only slapped a priest in a marriage function but has also manhandled the bridegroom with threat of lodging FIRs against everyone who protested his action including women shouting at them, disturbing the entire marriage.
The vedio that went viral today shows the angry n annoyed collector of Surajpur, Chattisgarh, badly scolding a youth with mask asking his policemen to thrash him n lodge FIR against him after not only smashing his phone by throwing it on the road with full force but also slapping him. Some passers by has in the meanwhile recorded the entire incident in their mobiles and made the vedio viral inviting the attention of the chief minister who lost no time to transfer the collector from Surajpur, who apologised for his rude behaviour and ugly action later on.
The chief minister of Chattisgarh Bhupesh Baghel has through a tweet informed that a matter pertaining to the misbehaviour of a collector of Surajpur has come into my knowledge from social media. This is highly condemnable and anguishing. Such rude actions can’t be tolerated at any cost. Orders have been passed to immediately remove collector Ranbir Sharma from his present posting tweeted Chattisgarh CM.
