Telangana CM Chandrasekhar announces Rs 3 lakh as financial compensation to each martyr’s bereaved family of Kisan movement n urges centre to give Rs 25 lakh to each family as well
While the prime minister Narendra Modi has finally endeavoured to put the curtain down on the ongoing farmers’ agitation by all of a sudden publicly announcing that all the three contentious farm laws termed as black laws by the farmers n their agitating unions being taken back with the incoming parliament session formally passing it to be finally signed by president of India, the various leaders of opposition parties and chief ministers of some state have demanded adequate financial compensation for the bereaved families of the farmers died during the agitation since the last one year.
The Telangana chief minister and founding leader of Telangana state CM Chandrasekhar Rao has announced that his government has sanctioned Rs three lakhs each to the martyred farmers during the Kisan agitation that went on for a year or so in which about 700 farmers succumbed to bad weathers, during demonstration or due to deteriorating health condition while protesting to demand withdrawal of three farm laws n enactment of a new law in MSP. The chief minister of Telangana K.Chandrashekhar Rao also urged the the central government to provide Rs.25 lakhs as financial compensation to each and every bereaved family of martyred farmers who died during the Kisan movement. He also urged the central government to withdraw all the case filed against the agitating farmers during the the farmers movement.
It may be recalled that the main opposition party Congress and it’s leaders viz Priyanka and Rahul Gandhi has demanded the martyrdom status and adequate financial assistance to the farmers who died during the agitation in support of their demands during the last one year.
Almost all the opposition parties have cumulatively been in support of the farmers demand exhibiting a unique solidarity lauded by Priyanka Gandhi in his press conference at Lucknow on 19 th November demanding marty dom stature and adequate financial compensation to the bereaved families and resignation of the Union home minister whose son allegedly crushed several farmers under his vehicle at Lakhimpur Kheeri.
Meanwhile, the farmers n their leaders like Rakesh Tikaith etc have rejected the prime minister’s request to wind up their agitation and Dharna and go to their families after a protracted struggle. The farm leader said that they will continue their agitation till the parliament formally passes the revocation resolution duly signed by the president to make the three farm laws, null and void.
The prime minister had on the day of Guru Nanak Jayanti publicly announced in his televised session that all the three laws would be revoked as he failed to convince the farmers on the benefits of the three farm laws probably there may be some demerits in his “Tapasya”. He has apologised and said that he is making this announcement with clear n transparent heart with no complaints against anybody, especially the farmers of the country.
Wrong precedant in my view.
Different people have different opinions sir. But yes those involved in serious cases of insulting our national flag should not be spared, genuinely finding out the facts n merits of the cases. Thanks for your comments. Regards
