TEHRI BJP MLA STRONGLY REBUTTED ACCUSATIONS OF THE FORMER MINISTER NOW IN BJP DINESH DHANAI WHO CHARGED HIM OF RUNNING CONTRACTS OF SEVERAL CRORES IN THDC
The BJP in Uttarakhand which has spearheaded spate of defections of Congress leaders including an MLA from Badrinath enabling their joining it, it is today itself the victim of internal squabbles.
However, this infighting is between those leaders who had joined BJP in the recent past.
According to the latest news, the BJP MLA from Tehri who had worked with Rajiv Gandhi and former union minister Arun Singh , believed to be close to Gandhi family, now in BJP, Kishore Upadhyay has strongly rebutted the former cabinet minister and now BJP leader Dinesh Dhanai for accusing him ( Kishore) of running contracts worth crores of rupees in Tehri Hydro Development Corporation ( Limited) outrightly denying the charges as baseless, concocted and fabricated.
In a letter written to the Executive Director of THDC Mr. L.P.Joshi Tehri Garhwal lawmaker Kishore Upadhyay has written that in one of the meetings my honourable friend former minister Dinesh Dhanai has while taking your name has said that in THDC my as well as my supporters contract works worth crores of rupees are being conducted.This has given me tremendous pain said Upadhyay adding that . the district president Rajesh Nautiyal was also present in this meeting. This baseless accusation had badly impacted negatively my personal image said Kishore further writing that I would therefore expect from you to clarify the position as to which contracts are working here and under whose recommendations, they were awarded. Meanwhile, Congress leader Garima Mahara Dasauni said that a party believing in caste, communal and dictatorial politics has brought the level of politics so low that it has degraded Indian political image at the global level.
The spokesperson of Uttarakhand Congress Garima Mehra Dasauni commenting on this development said that the Congress party was thinking since long that the defection campaign let loose by the BJP will ultimately pierce the last nail on its coffin.
The party giving the slogan of opposition free India has under the intoxication of power become so crazy that it is converting itself as opposition oriented party. She said that the letter of MLA Kishore Upadhyay and the social media post of BJP MLA from Lansdowne speak a lot about the internal squabbles in Uttarakhand BJP coming out gradually. This speaks of the fact that in the near future there would be tremendous tremors within the BJP Uttarakhand. She said this is just a beginning as in the near future they will be seeing stars during day time. The party talking lot about discipline and honesty would not be able to show its face to people. Dasauni said that Congress party has categorically said that it has already predicted that those joining BJP from Congress would be a headache for them, and the results are coming through.
