MLA Kishore Upadhyay has told Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and the Uttarakhand Government to take contemporary steps for land law in accordance with the spirit of the Uttarakhand movement and to protect public sentiments.
This step will not only protect the land but will also solve the issues of water, forest and land.
Uttarakhand may be a small state, but Uttarakhand has national and international importance in protecting global humanitarian concerns.
Uttarakhand alone supplies 63% of India’s water. This decision will prove to be a milestone in saving the Himalayas and Himalayan rivers said MLA Kishore Upadhyay.

विधायक किशोर उपाध्याय ने मुख्यमन्त्री श्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी और उत्तराखंड सरकार को उत्तराखंड आंदोलन की भावना के अनुरूप भू क़ानून हेतु सम सामयिक कदम उठाने हेतु जन भावना की रक्षा का कार्य बताया है।
इस कदम से भूमि की रक्षा तो होगी ही जल, जंगल और जमीन के मुद्दों का समाधान भी होगा।
उत्तराखण्ड छोटा राज्य हो सकता है, लेकिन वैश्विक मानवीय सरोकारों की रक्षा में उत्तराखण्ड का राष्ट्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महत्व है।भारत के 63% जल की आपूर्ति अकेला उत्तराखण्ड करता है। हिमालय और हिमालयी नदियों को बचाने में यह निर्णय एक मील का पत्थर साबित होगा।
