Swamy Chaitanyanand on the run after case of sexual harrasment lodged against him by several girls of an institute in Vasant Kunj

There have been several high profile religious Gurus in the past who have been jailed and several out on bail. These so called Gurus under the guise of being the religious masters doing miracles have misguided, manipulated and manovoured their thousands of followers and disciples giving them refuge in their ashram and then allegedly sexually assaulting the adolescent girls and even adult desciples with their other supervisory staff completely tight-lipped. The veteran Asharam Bapu, The Ram Rahim, Baba Rampal etc had been behind bars undergoing life imprisonment with some out on bail. They have a committed large fan and desciples having tremendous faith in them still.

Recently one more such case of an alleged sexual assault/ harrasment of around thirty girls have come to light in Vasant Kunj where Swami Chaitanyanand who was the incharge of the Delhi campus of a high profile management institute has absconded after the affected girls, the victims lodged a complaint with the Police about their alleged sex assault and harrasment by Swami Chaitanyanand through sending them unethical, Immoral sexual messages on whatsapp and by other means.

There are reports about sixteen of the girls having submitted their verbal and written statements against the Swamy who is absconding and according to he reports continuously giving Delhi police a slip with his mobile being traced in Agra though he is opening and disconnecting the phone in between.

According to the clarification of the Peetha headquarter – Swamy Chaitanyanand, formerly Swamy Dr. Parthsarthy , has been engaged in activities that are illegal, inappropriate and detrimental to the interests of Shri Shri Jagadguru Shankaracharya Mahasamasthanam Dakshinaamnaya Shri Shardha Peetham Shrigheri, Peetham.

AS a result the Peetham has severed all ties with him. The Peetham has also lodged complaints with the relevant authorities regarding illegal acts committed by Swamy Chaitanyanand who is on the run and police chasing him consistently.

On the search of the management Institute, the police also found a red Volvo expensive car with an illegal number place of UN fixed on the front portion of the car.

This case of sexual harrasment of several girls of the institute has created quite a sensitisation among the students. The case has gone to the court and majority of the girls students have given their written statements against the said Swamy in the court and in front of the police reveal the authorities.
