SURAT SINGH DECLARED THE SOLE WINNER AS PRESIDENT OF GARHWAL HITESHINI SABHA
After the resignation of the chief election officer of Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha Mr.Dhaundiyal due to the ongoing imbroglio in Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha over rejection of several nominations of the candidates on the grounds of technical wrongs, the three remaining assistant officers of GHS elections namely U.S. Negi, Devendra Singh Rawat and Ranveer Bisht who were also finalised by the unanimous voting in the general house of GHS have declared SURAT SINGH RAWAT as the un – opposed winner of the Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha after the cancellation of the only nomination of the outgoing president Ajay Singh Bisht who had filed papers for the post of president. Other office bearers who had been declared unopposed winners after the cancellation of nomination papers of their only rivals are : Deepak Dwivedi as secretary, Dhirendra Singh Rawat as treasurer, Murari Lal Khanduri as organising secretary and Sudhish Negi as Sports secretary. Similarly, those candidates whose nomination papers have not been cancelled for various posts would be participating in the elections slated for 12 th January. These orders have been duly signed by U.S.Negi, Devendra Singh Rawat and Ranvir Bisht , all Assistant Election officers of GARHWAL Hiteshini Sabha today. Meanwhile, the outgoing president Ajay Bisht has issued a circular doing rounds in social media that after the resignation and suggestion of the Election Officer, very soon a meeting of the General Committee of all the life members will be called and the further guidelines to the life members of Garhwal Hitaishi Sabha will be final, only they have the right to take decisions in the interest of society and the Sabha, all of you please be patient, we all will have to comply with the decision of the General Committee. Ajay Bisht retorts : They ( the three assistant election officers) have not authorised to pass such orders .
This is not fair after the resignation of R.O.
General body meeting will be called very soon for further line of action ,we should respect/wait the general body members mendate in the larger interest of Garhwal Hiteshini Sabha.
