Sunil Negi and a few other journalists felicitated with the Global Excellence Award for Journalism at Marwah Studio, Noida

The editor UKnationnews, President of Uttarakhand Journalists Forum, MC Member Press Club of India senior journalist Sunil Negi has been felicitated at Marwah Studio on the concluding day of three days Global Journalism festival / conclave. Negi has been bestowed with the Global Award for outstanding Journalism along with few other journalists from print and electronics media for their outstanding contribution in this field.
This honour recognises Negi’s outstanding contribution to the field of journalism and his notable contribution to media excellence.

was born in Nagpur on 21 November, 1958, Graduate from Delhi University
He has been in active journalism for the last four decades. He authored two editions of Uttaranchal Who’s Who comprising detailed profiles of Who’s Who of Uttarakhand of 800 pages and “Havoc in Heaven” book of 201 pages highlighting the Kedarnath Disaster 2013, June 16.
Negi contributed hundreds of articles in national, regional dailies, periodicals, magazines and nearly fifteen thousand news stories, analytical articles to News Views network, E trending news and currently Uknationews.
He is also credited for being the Media OSD to the then minister of state for Non Conventional Energy and Agriculture S.Krishna Kumar and Media advisor to first superstar and MP New Delhi Rajesh Khanna. He was also the member of the advisory committee of Anti Narcotic Cell, AICC having worked with Sunil Dutt, Actor turned MP as its chairman.
He had been felicitated with Pride of India Award, Uttarakhand Gaurav Award, Kalam Ke Sipahi award by NAI, All India Achievement Award for Excellence in Journalism , Dr. Radhakrishnan Award for outstanding journalism and several other awards and recognitions for writings, journalism etc.
In the past Negi Was special correspondent and bureau chief in Nutan Savera published from Mumbai, Vishwamanav, Hindi Daily , published from Saharanpur, Dehradun, Bareilly, Ghaziabad, Karnal and eveninger from Delhi, Doon Darpan Dehradun, Garhwali Daily Garhwal Aina, etc. He wrote for reputed magazine G Files, Amar Ujala, Daily , Hindi Blitz, reputed Hindi Weekly, Pahal A Milestone Magazine and for several other dailies and weeklies.
Wrote extensively in English and currently writing as editor for Uknationews extensively
He had also worked in close proximity with the former union minister and UP chief minister H. N.Bahuguna during the eighties.
And served for nine long years as Media Consultant in Delhi Commission for Women till 2013.
He is also credited for being the president of the Moti Lal Nehru College students union in 1979-80 and Central Councillor Delhi University Students Union including a relentless separate Uttarakhand movement activist having also organised several protest demonstrations against stifling of media freedom and free speech.
Prominent among those who presented the awards were Jagannath Sarkar, MP, emissary from Israel Embassy, Dr. Marwah, CMD Marwah Studios and Institute of Journalism and journalist founder National Association of Newspapers Vipin Gaur.
