Subedar Ram Singh of 16 Garhwal Rifles matyred in Rajouri, Kashmir while valiantly fighting the dreaded terrorists
Garhwal Rifles has today again lost one more brave heart in a fight against Pak sponsored terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. In one of the anti terrorist operations in the strife torn Kashmir valley Subedar Ram Singh of 16 Garhwal Rifles was martyred while valiantly fighting the terrorists in Rajouri, Kashmir. Subedar Ram Singh originally hailed from Salaana village under the jurisdiction of Pauri Garhwal district, Uttarakhand. The anguishing news of the death of Subedar Ram Singh has sent shock waves in entire Uttarakhand with the present chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and former CM Trivendra Singh Rawat expressing their deepest condolences on the martyrdom of brave heart Subedar Ram Singh exhibiting extreme bravery and patriotism while fighting the dreaded terrorists.
In two tweets the Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami while expressing his deepest condolences wrote : Received a heart rendering news about the martyrdom of a brave heart of Uttarakhand while valiantly fighting the terrorists in Rajouri, Kashmir. May the Almighty render peace to the pious sousland place at his feet and enough strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss. We all with always be proud of him for his supreme sacrifice.
The former chief minister of Uttarakhand Trivendra Singh Rawat tweeted : Subedar Ram Singhji of 16, Gorkha Rifles resident of Gram Salaana, Pauri Garhwal, has been martyred today while fighting the terrorists. We salute him for his extreme bravery and patriotism while protecting our nation tweeted Trivendra Singh Rawat.
Kindly recall that Garhwal Rifles have lost good number of young soldiers and officers while protecting our borders and fighting dreaded terrorists in strife torn Kashmir during the last few years and in various wars as well, exhibiting immense bravery, courage and patriotism. Their unparalleled supreme sacrifices in the service of the nation will always be remembered in the annals of Indian history inspiring one and all especially young talents joining Indian defence Forces in the service of the nation.
