Stone fell on vehicle near Narkota on Badrinath National Highway, painful death of two people.
Rudraprayag. A large stone fell on a tempo travel vehicle going from Rudraprayag to Srinagar at around 3:30 pm today, resulting in the tragic death of two people. The same vehicle was immediately brought to Rudraprayag District Hospital where the injured are undergoing treatment.
Today on Wednesday, heavy storm and rain started in some parts of the district from 3:00 pm. Meanwhile, this Tempo Travels number DL 1VC 4832 vehicle was going from Rudraprayag to Srinagar on Badrinath National Highway amidst heavy storm and heavy rain. A big stone fell on the vehicle near Narkota. The driver immediately brought the vehicle to the district hospital where two people were declared dead by the doctors. Kotwali police reached the spot and the dead are being identified.
