Stepdaughter of an IPS, Kannada actress in 14 days police custody
Claiming to be the Stepdaughter of the IPS Officer and Director General of Police Ramachandra Rao – a glamorous Kannada actor Ranya Rao having acted in several Kannada and Tamil films was remanded to 14 days judicial custody after been caught at the Bengaluru Airport yesterday evening with 14.8 kilograms of Gold.
Costing worth several crores of rupees this gold being smuggled to India from abroad was found in the possession of the Kannada actress at the Bengaluru’s Kempegowda international airport during the checking.
She was arrested and produced before the judge in the court who remanded her to fourteen days judicial custody.
Hailing from Chikmangalur Kannada actress has passed her engineering and later joined acting profession due to her glamorous looks becoming a celebrated Kannada actress having acted in several movies viz. Mannikya in 2014, Tamil movie Wagah in 2016, Kannada comedy Pataki in 2017 etc.
