Sonu Sood is the brand ambassador of Delhi government’s children mentorship programme, announces Delhi CM.

Coming to the rescue of thousands of migrants, construction workers and those displaced during the challenging Covid times, especially lockdown by sending distressed hapless n poor families n people in distress to their respective destinations by rail, buses and even air including helping them financially n with jobs as well with his mission is continued, “Dabang”, famous celebrated actor Sonu Sood today met the Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi and extended his full support to the AAM Admi Party.

Though prominent Delhi actor has not officially declared his open support to AAP but it seems obvious after the Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal appointed him as the brand Ambassador of Delhi government’s special campaign of Mentorship Programme of students launched by the government of NCT of Delhi. The announcement was made after the meeting of the celebrated actor with the Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal. Lauding Sonu Sood for his philanthropic efforts especially during challenging Covid times helping thousands of people in distress across the country, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal thanked the actor for this noble service to the society saying : We are thankful to Sonu Sood for taking out time from his busy schedule.

He is an inspiration for the entire country said Kejriwal adding that thousands are reaching to him for the miracles he has done which governments can’t do. We had a long chat with him sharing the work of Delhi government with him said Kejriwal. Speaking on the mentorship programme of Delhi government after announcing the actor’s nomination as its brand ambassador Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said that many children don’t know what to do and where to go. We therefore request people to become their mentors and guide them.

On the other hand feeling jubilant Bollywood actor Sonu Sood who came Delhi to meet Kejriwal to accept this important assignment as Brand Ambassador of Delhi govt’s mentorship programme, said that i feel blessed that I am a part of this mentorship programme considering myself lucky to reach lakhs of students terming it a great opportunity. While extending his gracious thanks to Kejriwal, Sonu Sood said that together we will and we can under his leadership . Making clear he said there is nothing about politics in this as we haven’t discussed anything political.

It may be recalled that elections in Punjab n four other states are due for next year. Aam Admi Party is contesting on all seats in Punjab. Political analysts say that Sonu Sood’s meeting AAP chief n taking the responsibility as the brand ambassador of mentorship programme of Delhi government to guide lakhs of students is an effort to bring the actor to it’s ( AAP’s) side. Earlier there were also rumours / news about either Sonu or his, sister Malvika Sachchar contesting from Moga on Congress ticket. She was invited on several functions as well socially in Moga Punjab.
