Sonia Gandhi writes to ED to give her few weeks time as she is convalescing after treatment of Covid and lungs infection on doctor’s advise !

The interim president of Congress party Sonia Gandhi has written a letter to Enforcement Directorate requesting to give her some more weeks as she won’t be able to attend the ED hearing/ interrogation on 23 rd June in view of infection in her lungs and having suffered from Covid 19, as advised by the doctors for rest of few more days.

Kindly recall that Sonia Gandhi was admitted in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, more than a week ago and was on treatment after being infected with Covid 19 and subsequent health problems.

The Rajya Sabha MP n senior Congress leader Jai Ram Ramesh has given this information through a tweet. In his two tweets in Hindi Jairam wrote : The doctors of a hospital where Smt Sonia Gandhi was admitted due to Covid 19 and infection in lungs has been advised to take rest for few more days. She has through a letter to ED requested to postpone her hearing of 23 rd June for few more weeks after she fully recovers tweeted Jai Ram Ramesh MP.

Earlier Smt Sonia Gandhi was issued notice for 8 th June and thereafter for 13 th June due to her being infected with Covid and thereafter having been admitted in a private hospital after her health condition deteriorated.

Smt Sonia Gandhi has been summoned to ED in connection with the National Herald case in connection with Young India and associated Journals’ alleged money laundering case on the petition filed by the BJP leader Dr. Subramaniam Swamy.

Meanwhile, while addressing the Congress leaders and workers thanking them for standing with him in solidarity while he was in ED confronting interrogation, former Congress chief and Waynad MP Rahul Gandhi who was interrogated by ED for over fifty hours said he was not alone there but millions of Congress workers were with him.

In a tweet after addressing hundreds of leaders and activists at Congress headquarter 24 Akbar Road lawns Rahul Gandhi tweeted in Hindi : China is sitting on our Hindustan’ s territory. Prime minister Sir the true patriotism lies in strengthening the Forces but you are weakening the ” sena” allegedly betraying them. We are with the youth of the country in this movement to protect the future of the country. I am saying again that you’ll have to revoke Agnipath Scheme tweeted Gandhi.
