Aarohan, a Delhi based NGO and Solar Energy Corporation of India ( SECI ) handed over the solar panels installed by them as the laters CSR initiative to the principals of Rajkiya Vidalaya and Raj Vidhyalaya respectively today for commencing operation.
Present on the occasion were Pallav Yadu , ……….of SECI Shashi Sahay, treasurer Aarohan among others.
This joint initiatives aim to bring sustainable energy solution to enhance education process and improve learning opportunities at the schools.
This renewable energy system will also encourage rural communities for sending their children to school.
The project is seen as a milestone in the joint venture of Aarohan and SECI for fulfilling their commitment to harness solar energy to upgrade school education set ups and reduce carbon footprints
Speaking on the occasion Smt. Rani Patel, Founder President of Aarohan reiterated the importance of education in realising full potential in life for which overall improvement of quality of schools are must.
Aarohan also undertook up gradation of school infrastructure to create conducive learning environment.
Further, Teachers Training programs were conducted for giving more impetus to quality to education.
Health Check Up camps here held for ensuring welfare of the children and their families along with nutrition awareness programmes to encourage healthy eating habits.
Cultural functions and sports competitions were held for encouraging students participation in social activities and personality development.
Mr. Pallav Yadu from SECI, Vimalkant Jha education officer, Rani Patel president of Aarohan , Shashi Sahai fro aarohan and other people of governance like sarpanches and all were present on this occasion.
