Sitaram Yachuri takes a dig at PM quoting the concluding words of Swamy Vivekananda at Chicago in 1893
The seventh and final round of polling has ended today. The prime minister Narendra Modi also ended his meditation at Vivekananda statue at Kanyakumari today afternoon. Earlier in 2019 he had meditated in a cave near historic ancient Kedarnath temple in GARHWAL Uttarakhand. Prime minister Modi’s major focus has always been on spiritual practices visiting temples all around the country and paying his obeisance. He is credited for constructing the Ram Temple in Ayodhya honouring the wishes of millions of people hailing from the majority community. Several opposition leaders of India National Developmental Inclusive Alliance have opposed him for allegedly spreading animosity among the minorities and majority community especially after the statement of PM Narendra Modi in Banswara , Rajasthan during election campaigning accusing INDIA alliance leaders that if them come to power they will not only snatch the Mangalsutras of women but will also redistribute their wealth among the minority community who give birth to many children . He also declared him as the messenger sent by the Almighty to serve the humanity saying that after my mother died my inner conscience gave me the feeling that I wasn’t born biologically n God has send me to serve the society. One of the BJP spokespersons Dr.Sambit Patra even went to the extent of saying that Lord Jaganath is his follower. There were several other objectionable statements of his that caught the attention of the INDIA leaders criticizing the BJP to the core. Meanwhile, taking a dig at prime minister Narendra Modi the national general Secretary of Communist Party of India (Marxists) Sitaram Yachury has while quoting a significant portion of the speech delivered at Chicago on 27 September 1893 asked if PM Modi is aware of the concluding words of the globally popular monk Swami Vivekananda delivered by him in Worlds Religious Parliament. In this important speech amid tremendous applause the renowned monk has said : If anybody dreams of the exclusive survival of his own religion and the destruction of the others, I pity him from the bottom of my heart, and point out to him that upon the banner of every religion will soon be written, in spite of resistance: ‘Help and not Fight’, ‘Assimilation and not Destruction’, ‘Harmony and Peace and not Dissension’.” These important post was written by Sitaram Yachury on his social media handle yesterday.
