According to Rajendra Prasad, my close friend and relative of Srishti, Srishti is the daughter of Dr. Kushala Nand Lakheda ji of the village next to him and looks like my aunt in the relationship. An interesting detail related to the making of this film which has won several awards so far is that during the lockdown due to the Covid pandemic, Dr. Lakheda moved to his native village along with his wife and daughter Srishti. During this, he also inspired people for reverse migration by doing a lot of farming by growing pulses in their barren fields there. The plight of the deserted villages gave Srishti the idea of this film and she shot it in the adjacent village and made a wonderful film.
