Shilpa Shetty and her husband relieved after the HC bench directs ED not to act for the time being on the eviction notices issued to them
The renowned actor, heroine of good number of Bollywood movies Shilpa Shetty and her businessmen husband Raj Kundra against whom several enforcement directorate cases were lodged for forex and tax violations after raids on her suspicious business scandals including porn video related illegal business etc have got a huge relief from the Mumbai High Court who issued directions to the ED officers not to act on the eviction notices issued to them. The two judge bench of Mumbai High Court comprising of Justices Revti Mohite and Prithviraj Chouhan has in their order catagorically instructed the Enforcement Directorate not to take any action on the eviction notices issued to Shilpa Shetty and her husband. The two judge bench was hearing the case pertaining to Kindly recall that the Enforcement Directorate had seized assets worth Rs 97.79 crore owned by renowned actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra in the Bitcoin Ponzi scam which includes the latter’s luxurious flat in Juhu though in the name of Shilpa. ED has taken this action under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) Act 2002 a serious act which is non bailable usually. Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra were issued eviction notices pertaining to luxurious properties owned by them viz a flat in Juhu in the name of Shilpa, a residential bunglow in Pune, equity shares in the name of Kundra worth crores etc. The probe by the Delhi and Mumbai police in these ED cases were initiated after FITs registered against Shetty and Kundra by MS Variable Tech, PTI limited, late Amit Bharadwaj, Ajay, Vivek, Simi n Mahendra Bharadwaj including by MLM agents said the Aaj Tak news report.
