Several angered youths and women court arrest shouting Go back go back slogans against state BJP chief in Pauri
The ruling saffron party’s image in Uttarakhand is in doldrums especially after getting recent anti Uttarakhandi indecent remarks by the former minister Prem Chand Aggrawal and the Uttarakhand BJP chief and MP Mahendra Bhatt arrogantly and shamefully calling the Uttarakhand’s protestors as Sadak Chaap Netas despite the hard fact that in entire Uttarakhand their effigies are being burnt and protest demonstrations going unabated including an incessant campaign of condemnation in social media posts still continuing. There are reports that the state BJP chief will soon meet the same fate as met by the erring and arrogant Prem Chand Aggrawal who lost his two ministries , one of finance and another of parliamentary affairs. The Uttarakhand assembly speaker and Kotdwar MLA, daughter of former Uttarakhand CM B.C.Khanduri, Ritu Khanduri us also being accused for not discouraging the minister in assembly to abuse the Uttarakhand society. In a state which is already reeling under massive unemployment, shameful obnoxious incident of Ankita Bhandari taking place including massive cheating scams and corruption at every level with the state fiscal deficit crossing rupees 70000 crores , such indecent remarks by a cabinet minister and a state chief of the ruling BJP including MP is utterly intolerable. Today in Pauri Garhwal good number of youths and women raised slogans of God back Go back against the state’s BJP chief opposing his visit to Pauri Garhwal. Several wimen volunteers of Congress and other parties courted arrests condemning the ruling BJP and its vision less arrogant and proudy leaders. The policemen had to literally lift the protestors and put them in the police vans including some women. When asked about this protest one of the woman said : When leaders of BJP call the people of Uttarakhand Sadak Chaap, Maoists instead of taking care of their basic facilities, then there will be a reaction. Tell us your achievements, even the natives were not spared, land laws are flexible, loot in schemes, corruption in every department and no action on complaints hence we are counting arrest to registered our protests.
In another protest demonstration hundreds of people reached Raiwala police station, Dehradun today regarding the case filed against Dinesh Chandra Master, Sitaram Ranakoti, Bobby Rangad, Lalmani Raturi, Himanshu Panwar, Virendra Bisht demanding withdrawal of the cases. This Public outrage is over the Uttarakhand police’s filing fake FIR against respected people and social workers without any investigation.
