Due to excessive rains and gushing floods the seventy metres of the metalled road has been completely washed away thus not only obstructing the movement of traffic but also giving a challenge to the authorities concerned to reconstruct the entire stretch in the near future. The gushing water of the former overflowing river was so powerful that it destroyed completely, rather swept away a seventy metres stretch of the road.

In another cloud burst including dent at Sahatradhara, Dehradun several shops, houses, resorts and small bridges have been completely washed away in gushing flood waters with people is extreme shops having lost their everything. The river was so angered that it’s ravishing over flooded waters didn’t spare anyone and destroyed several shops and even fully constructed resorts leading to collosal losses.
Meanwhile in neighbouring Himachal Pradesh’s Dharampura in Mandi district the destruction has been massive. Heavy destruction occured due to the torrential rainfall in Dharampur of Mandi district. HRTC buses also got affected, damaged as they were fully submerged in the muddy water with silt,all the shops near the bus stand were completely damaged, shops got submerged in water, hanging bridge got washed away, huge loss to people, the condition of traders also remains very worrying.
