There is yet another tragic news coming it from Uttarakhand after another helicopter crashed today resulting in the brutal deaths of seven persons. The tragedy happened when the chopper of Aryan Aviation Pvt. Limited crashed in between Gaurikund and Triyuginarayan in Kedarghati after developing serious technical snags catching fire and falling abruptly in a remote part of Uttarakhand. The chopper that took off at 5.30 PM crashed shortly thereafter brutally killing seven occupants including the pilot, this being the fifth crash with regard to the heli services to the Uttarakhand spiritual destinations. According to the Garhwal range inspector General Rajiv Swaroop the crash took place in the remotest of the area killing seven persons. The SDRF, local police and other disaster management authorities have reached the accidental spot and are trying to retrieve the dead bodies in bad shape. Kindly recall that in May 8 a private chopper e route to Gangotri had crashed resulting in seventy deaths and a chopper of Krestel aviation crash landing on the highway of Guptkashi , Rudraprayag. The Uttarakhand chief minister expressed his deepest condolences writing on X : Very sad news has been received about a helicopter crash in Rudraprayag district. SDRF, local administration and other rescue teams are engaged in relief and rescue operations. I pray to Baba Kedar for the safety of all the travellers.” As a result of these repeated crashes after the development of technical snags the DGCA had revoked the licences of two aviation companies operating in Uttarakhand as a deterrent to those who commit repeated mistakes in this regard.
