Services of four Executive Engineers in Uttarakhand Paijal Nigam terminated fir submitted fake caste certificates

In Uttarakhand several cases of fake appointments have come to light in several government departments after coming into existence in the year 2000. According to a news report, the services of the four Executive Engineers have been terminated from “Uttarakhand Paijal Nigam” for seeking employment submitting fake caste Certificates. Out of these four appointments, three engineers got the job in 2005 and one in 2OO7. Out of these four Executive Engineers two – namely Sumit Anand and Munish Karara were from another state who submitted fake ST certificates from Uttarakhand while another candidate of 2005 batch Mujammil Hassan from Uttarakhand Pradesh sought a fake OBC reservation certificate from Uttarakhand and got the job. What was important in this case was that the outsider candidates weren’t applicable to seek job on reservation quota from Uttarakhand and applicable to seek entry under general catagory. Similarly, Sarita Gupta in 2007 catagory got the appointment in Paijal Nigam of Uttarakhand seeking fake reservation certificate under Uttarakhand Women reservation quota. After the thorough investigation in these aforesaid cases the Uttarakhand Drinking Water Corporation sent these cases to Personal department. All the four engineers’ were finally given opportunity to vindicate their cases to prove that the certificates of case submitted by them are not fake. However, they could not clarify and satisfy the personal department handling this fraud case recommended by the Uttarakhand . Finally the services of all the four engineers were terminated.
