SEQUEL OF SUBHERU GHAM, BATHAUN 2 TO BE SCREENED IN DELHI AND NCR THEATRES IN THE MONTH OF MAY
Had a very fruitful meeting with the managing director of Snowy Mountain Production based in Mumbai and producer, director, writer and actor of Subheru Gham and its sequel Bathaun 2 at Hotel ITC Sheraton in New Delhi today.With me were renowned theatre and regional film actor, poet and writer Dr.Satish Kaleshwari. Soft spoken and affable in nature a renowned film maker and actress of regional Garhwali films Fyonli, Ghar Jawain, Kauthig , Subheru Gham and Bathaoon having also acted in several Hindi movies with legendary film maker and actor , director, producer Devanand, Rajesh Khanna , Mithun Chakravarthy in Swamy Dada, Dada , Sautan etc Urmi Negi is the recipient of several national and international awards for her outstanding acting and film making including as the best actress in international film festivals too. Her films which always carry the unique message against social evils based on contemporary subjects like prevalence of illicit liquor in the hills destroying social fabric, incessant migration to plains for want of jobs and lack of adequate health facilities, including hardships confronted by women community in the hills etc have always won accolades and lauded by one and all including the chief ministers and top bureaucrats of the Himalayan state. Her Garhwali film ” Subheru Gham” was a huge success having win several recognitions including an outstanding award in Canada film festival . Her latest film, the sequel of Subheru Gham BATHAUN party 2 highlighting the exodus of youths from interior villages to metropolises for want jobs and the pressing problems confronted by them in villages in the absence of basic amenities and health related options. She was recently felicitated with the International film fare film festival award as best actress in regional film catagory and Bathaun winning the best film award as well. Her movies in addition to carrying a pivotal social message to reform the society also comprise of melodious songs and mesmerising music with precision in direction and perfect camera dexterity. The locations are splendid and the script full of passion and emotions touching everyone’s heart leading to audience coming out of the theatre in tears and nostalgia. His new film BATHAUN after being super duper hit at Dehradun, Rishikesh and several theatres of Mumbai is being screened probably in in NCR and Delhi theatre in the month of May, Stay tuned.
