So sad. Manmohan, a senior journalist and who worked in many prestigious newspapers in English and Hindi, passed away this evening.
He was admitted in AIIMS. The funeral will take place tomorrow. He was 72 years old.
He had worked in big newspapers like Statesman, Hindustan Times, Times of India, Navbharat Times, Tribune. Had equal command on both the languages.
Had become very weak for some time. But used to visit Press Club to meet friends and well wishers.
The problem of eyes also kept him worried. Vision had become very weak. But after recognizing everyone, he would meet them very intimately.
He was a lively personality. He used to have a candidate in every election of the Press Club.
Used to call for publicity as well as for news, very keenly.
Was still writing columns in some newspapers despite his not so good health and weak eyesight. Our richest tributes and deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
