SDC, Dehradun signs MOU with SRHU, Dehradun to achieve sustainable developmental goals, climate change, waste management etc
The Social Development of communities Foundation , Dehradun has signed an MoU today on August the 4th, 2022 with the Dehradun, Uttarakhand based Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU). According to renowned environmental and social activist Anoop Nautiyal of SDC, Dehradun the MoU was signed by Dr. Susheela Sharma, Registrar – SRHU and myself in the presence of Dr. Vijay Dhasmana, Vice Chancellor – SRHU and Dr Rajendra Dobhal, Director Strategic Planning – SRHU.
Amongst other initiatives, the SDC will collaborate in the areas of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), climate change, waste management, sustainable urbanization and citizen engagement. SDC will jointly work towards adoption of tech and building social solutions. We will work to promote scientific temper and create related awareness in Uttarakhand said Anoop Nautiyal, chief of SDC.
Lauding the contribution HIMS in various social initiatives with determination and commitment Anoop Nautiyal said that with a rich legacy of Himalayan Hospital & Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, the first and the largest National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) accredited private teaching hospital and medical college of Uttarakhand, SRHU has been providing a platform to the youth to learn and transform into efficient, effective, ethical and committed professionals.
SRHU is the only university in Dehradun, Uttarakhand that has a dedicated multispecialty Himalayan Hospital, Cancer Research Institute, Ayurveda Center and Rural Development Institute, all under one roof, besides eight schools and colleges namely: Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Himalayan College of Nursing, Himalayan School of Management Studies, Himalayan School of Science & Technology, Himalayan School of Bio Sciences, Himalayan School of Yoga Science, Himalayan School of Vocational Studies & Skill Development, Gauri Himalayan School of Science & Technology at Toli, Uttarakhand added Nautiyal of SDC.
