Rs. One crore cheque presented to Uttarakhand CM by Bank of Baroda. UK govt announces Rs. Five lakhs for those who have lost their houses

At Dharali, Harshil, in Uttarakashi and Sainjee and Bankura in Oabo, Garhwal

A delegation of Bank of Baroda today met the chief minister of Uttarakhand and presented a cheque of Rs. One Crore to him for the welfare and well being of the ecological disaster victims at Dharali, Harshil , Sainjee and Bankura villages at Pabo, Garhwal.

The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had appealed to various agencies and corporates etc to donate to compensate for the massive losses at Dharali, Harshil and other areas ud Uttarakhand.

Meanwhile the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced that every family who have lost their houses in the ravishing flash floods in Dharali, Harshil,Uttarkashi and Sainjee, Buraansi village in Pabou Garhwal where three persons died having been buried under the debris will be accorded the financial help of Rs Five Lakhs each for renovation/ repair of their houses etc. in a message on X the Uttarakhand chief minister wrote in Hindi :

In the villages of Dharali, Harshil,as well as Sainjee and Bankura in Pauri, those whose houses have been damaged will be provided with assistance of Rs. Five Lakhs.

The rehabilitation of the people affected by the severe disaster in these areas is our priority.

Under the leadership of respected prime minister Shri Narendra Modiji the central government is also providing full support to help those affected by the disaster.

Electricity, Communication and Road connectivity will be restored in the area soon. We are making all possible efforts to provide relief to get affected said the Uttarakhand CM Dhami on X.

The Indian Army , NDRF, SDRF and local police are doing their best to retrieve the dead bodies and supplying water bottles and ration to the affected families, though there are lot of complaints too about the negligence and apathy on the part of the state government.

The chief minister said that a three member high power committee have been set up for the rehabilitation of the affected persons and almost all the people stranded in the disaster affected areas have been rescued and rations, clothings and medicines including other essential items are being provided to the disaster victims.

Electricity and the network services have been restored in the affected villages said CM Pushkar Singh Dhami.
