The ex. husband of former chairperson of Delhi Commission for Women Swati Maliwal, Naveen Jaihind who and Swati are already divorced four years back has released a video of his on social media platform X asking her former wife to be brave and strong and counter what had happened with her as she has always been brave and helped countless number of distressed women earlier in her capacity as the chairperson of Delhi Commission for Women. He said her life is under threat.
In a video message released on X he said that he and Swati are divorced since last four years and now I am speaking for a women of the country. He categorically said to her ex wife that making her Rajya Sabha MP is nothing and she should not be obliged by it should rather strongly and bravely counter what has happened to her. He said he has been receiving lot of calls since yesterday from journalists regarding what happened with Swati Maliwal at the chief minister’s residence.
First I want to say that I am divorced with her for the last four years. Second, I want to tell you that whatever has happened with Swati Maliwal was planned and now she has been threatened and anything can happen to her. Regarding Sanjay Singh’s statement in a press conference earlier that Delhi CM has taken cognisance of attack on her and that he has assured to deliver full justice, Naveen Jaihind said I know Sanjay Singh very closely. This is all drama and an open lie. He knew everything since beginning and is telling a white lie. We are with Swati Maliwal and if need be would stand by her physically.
Naveen said pointing towards the PS to Arvind Kejrival , Bibhav Kumar that a man who has assaulted Swati does not have the guts to even raise his voice but he did that on someone’s instructions.
Naveen said I was just listening to Sanjay Singh’s press conference and want to tell him that he should stop acting as he knows everything . He said Swati should stand up and speak for herself as she has been helping countless distressed women in her capacity as chairperson of Delhi Commission for Women. He said what are you afraid of, stand up and fight. You life stands threatened said Naveen Jindal.
It may be recalled that two days ago Swati Maliwal has gone to the official residence of Delhi CM Arvind Kejrival where she was physically assaulted as complained by her at the nearby police station on her own mobile hone. She had also been to the police station but after sometime she left it saying that she’ll come back. After that the RS MP Sanjay Singh addressed a press conference, the other day condemning this incident and assuring her that stringent action will be taken against the PS to Delhi CM, Bibhav Kumar who has allegedly committed this s offence.
