Ritu Sharma, Hindi teacher of Bal Bharti Public School, Gangaram Marg, New Delhi, honored for her commendable services and remarkable contribution.

Under the auspices of the Other Backward Classes Commission, the Delhi Government, the Teachers’ Day celebrations organized at the Delhi Secretariat today concluded in the presence of the Commission’s Chairman Jagdish Yadav.

On this occasion, Mrs. Ritu Sharma Vats, Hindi teacher of Bal Bharti Public School, Gangaram Marg, New Delhi, for her commendable services and remarkable contribution in the field of education, was felicitated by the Chief Guest, Reserve Bank of India Services Selection Board and former Chief Secretary of Maharashtra Mr. Amitabh Rajan. Awarded the Teacher Excellence Award.

In his address, Mr. Rajan said that India has achieved a significant achievement by sending Chandrayaan-3. Behind this also there is an important role of those teachers who have taught the scientists of ISRO. Teachers are the nation builders and give new direction to the society all the time. That’s why it is our national duty to respect the teacher.

While congratulating the honored teachers, the chairman of the commission, Mr. Jagdish Yadav said that the Delhi government always remains ahead in honoring the teachers. On this occasion, many celebrities of the education world were present including Mr. Ajayveer Yadav, General Secretary of Government School Teachers Association.

Educationist Dayanand Vats said that respecting teachers increases the responsibility of teachers towards the society. Vats has termed the initiative of Shri Jagdish Yadav, President of Other Backward Classes Commission, to honor teachers as auspicious sign.
