The Rishikesh public at Shanti Nagar and the surrounding areas have today raised slogans of Murdabad and go back in the presence of the Rishikesh Mayor, Shsmbhu Paswan, the candidate of the former minister Prem Chand Aggrawal who had accused Pahadies in the assembly leading to his resignation. The angered people , men and women were led by the defeated Congress candidate in the Mayoral elections of Rishikesh Deepak Jaatav. When the Rishikesh mayor arrived in a locality of Rishikesh he wasn’t allowed to come out of the car. However, after immense effort he came out but met with go back and Mayor Shambhu Paswan Murdabad slogans. The leader of the Congress Deepak Jatav asked Paswan to show the tender of the roads of Shanti Nagar and other areas completely damaged due to rains despite having been rectified earlier. There is silt all around with people not able to walk. The people were badly furious over the substandard quality works of the roads and alleged misuse of the public funds. After the slogans renting the air with Go back and Murdabad slogans , the Rishikesh Mayor Shambhu Paswan had no option but to run away swiftly from the anger of the electorates.
