UK CM Tirath Singh Rawat’s media advisor shunted out within two days after his appointment. New chief advisor appointed
The stars of the present chief minister of Uttarakhand does not seem to be on a right position and as such since the day ninth chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat assumed office he has been in jeopardy, sometimes due to the slip of tongue committing grave blunders with his ridiculous statements in the public and sometimes his mistakes on issuing of appointment orders n then revoking after two days of an important person on key position of significance. Yes, I am talking about the cancellation of the appointment orders of Dinesh Mansera, a senior journalist and activist who was with NDTV as its senior reporter from Haldwani for a long stint. Sounds quite ironical that a media advisor appointed to chief minister of Uttarakhand through the official orders on the dictates of the CM Tirath Singh Rawat get cancelled just two days after on 19 th with a two line new order followed by a separate order appointing a new chief advisor Shatrughan Singh. It may be recalled that after the appointment of Dinesh Mansera as his media advisor, on 17 th May the chief minister’s office had not done its homework well and considered journalist as a man of RSS as being given to understand whereas as per the latest news he had issued several tweets earlier slandering the prime minister n other BJP high ups on his Twitter handle as below including a picture welcoming Delhi’s deputy CM Manish Sisodia, hard core betenoire of BJP n PM etc. It is believed that after the temperory appointment the tweet account of Dinesh Mansera was abruptly closed by him. However, there was lot of hue and cry in the social media after his appointment as the CM, Uttarakhand’s media advisor for n against. This brought the real face of the newly appointed media advisor to the chief minister’s knowledge who took no time to direct the senior bureaucrats to issue the cancellation order of Dinesh Mansera’s appointment of May 17 th. Therefore on 19 th May two fresh orders were issued – one a revocation order of Media advisor by additional chief secretary Radha Raturi and another pertaining to the appointment order of former chief information Commissioner of Uttarakhand Shatrughan Singh as his chief advisor issued by Radha Raturi only.
Both the orders are below for your kind perusal:
It may be recalled that the media advisor Dinesh Mansera was appointed on co terminus basis till 2022 til the elections and the chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat’s post is also relevant till a year only. The previous chief minister’s media advisor Ramesh Bhatt was in News Nation n Rajya Sabha TV prior to his joining Trivendra Singh Rawat. He was the media advisor for four years but Bhatt left after Trivendra Singh Rawat was ousted. It seems that Dinesh Mansera would be the only media advisor in the country or Uttarakhand to the CM to have been appointed for merely two days and that too on paper.
