Reshuffle in Delhi Police. 17 IPS officers reshuffled

In order to revive the law and order situation in the national capital and make is more responsive to the people including complaints in view of the increasing crime in Delhi the Union home ministry has reshuffled some officers of IPS rank.

According to the latest news seven IPS officers whose deputation/ deployment period was over in NCT of Delhi have been transferred to other states while five IPS officers who were stationed in the Union territories outside Delhi have been transferred to the national capital.

According to the latest order of the Union home ministry about 17 IPS officers have been reshuffled from their present states to other states.

According to the directives of the Home ministry, the senior IPS officer of 1996 Batch has been transferred back to Delhi. He is currently the joint commissioner of police, Delhi range to head Delhi Metro and Railway Police. A distinguished officer earlier also OSD to the then It Governor Delhi is the recipient of prestigious president’s Gold medal.

On the other hand the Joint CP of Crime Branch and IPS of 1999 batch Vivek Kishore has been sent to Arunachal Pradesh.

The IPS of 2001 Sindhu Pillai and 2004 batch’s IPS Dheeraj Kumar have been transferred to Andaman Nicobar and, Mizoram respectively.

In addition to these officers, Ajit Kumar Singla, IPS of the same batch have been sent to Puducherry while Ms Aslam Khan, a dashing n firebrand IPS has been transferred from Goa to Delhi. Chinmay Baiswal, an IPS of 2008 batch has been sent to Arunachal Pradesh while IPS Asif Mohammed Ali, posted in Arunachal Pradesh has been reverted back to Delhi. Another officer, IPS of 2011 batch Ingit Pratap Singh has been dispatched to Arunachal Pradesh from the national capital and IPS Abhishek of 2012 batch have been called to Delhi from Goa.

Similarly Nidhin Balan of 2012 batch IPS too has been transferred to Delhi from Goa whereas an IPS of 2015 batch Rajbeer Singh has been sent to Goa from AP. Another IPS, Rahul Gupta, has been transferred to Goa from Arunachal Pradesh reveal the Home minister orders.

Apart from these, Anayat Ali Choudhary of 2017 batch posted in Ladakh has been sent to Jammu and Kashmir, Kalaivan R posted in Andaman has been sent to Puducherry, 2019 batch woman IPS Shweta K Swathan has been sent to Andaman from Delhi and Shivkumar posted in Jammu and Kashmir has been sent to Ladakh.
