Renowned Gandhian social activist and senior scribe to be honoured with HEERA AWARD on 12 th December at Hindi Bhawan, Delhi

Gandhian, social worker and senior journalist Prasun Latant will be honored with the significant ‘Heera’ award in a grand ceremony to be organized at Hindi Bhawan in New Delhi on 12th December.
The above prestigious honor has been announced by Savita Chadda Jan Seva Samiti. Among those honored with this honor in the past years, the names of late founder of Sulabh International, Dr. Bindeshwari Pathak and internationally renowned social worker Inderjit Sharma have been prominent.
Among those who were honoured with various other honors on the occasion of the event, famous writer Dr. Sanjeev MK Kumar was given ‘Literature Award’, famous poet Dr. Ranjana Majumdar was awarded ‘Lyricist Shri Samman’ and Shahana Parveen of Muzaffarnagar was awarded ‘Shilpi Chadha Smriti Samman’. ‘Will be awarded for his book ‘Kuch Panne Pita Ke Naam’.
Books based on relationships were invited by the committee in the year 2022-23. Out of the books received, the books of 12 other writers who have been selected for the honor include Dr. Vinay Singal, Gurugram’s book ‘Sambandh Vyakt Avyakt’, Nazreen Ansari, Delhi’s book ‘Maa Aur Lafzon Ka Sangam’, Archana Kochhar, Rohtak. ‘Sounds of memories’, Aashma Kaul, Faridabad ‘Sounds of memories’, Rahi Raj, Karnataka’s book ‘Pita’, Kamal Kapoor, Faridabad ‘Jeeney To Gulmohar Ke Tale’, Ratna Bhadoria, Rae Bareli ‘Saamne Wali Kursi’, Dr Pushpa Singh Bisen, Vasundhara’s book ‘Bhagya Rekha’, Indukant Angiras, Delhi ‘Flashback’, Anju Kalra Dasan ‘Nalini’, Dilshad Garden Delhi Book ‘Aaina’, Yeti Sharma, Delhi ‘Midnight Sleep’, Madhu Jain, Jabalpur ‘Untatah’, Anju Bharti, Bengaluru ‘Need’ and Hemlata Mhaske Sham is included in Pune’s book ‘Anathon ki Maa Sindhutai’.
