Rates of LPG cylinder again hiked by Rs twenty five raising it’s total cost to Rs. 794 in Delhi
After the skyrocketing prise rise in petrol, diesal, the prise of LPG cylinder has also been raised again by Rs twenty five per cylinder putting additional burden on already burdened countrymen thus literally breaking their backbones.
According to the latest news the price of the liquified petroleum gas domestic cylinder in the national capital has been raised by Rs 25 per unit quoting reliable sources.
This increase of Rs 25 on every cylinder of domestic gas has raised the total cost of a cylinder to Rs 794 weighing 14.2 kilogram.
This prise hike of Rs twenty on every domestic gas cylinder will be applicable from Thursday 25th.
While the rise in petrol n Diesal has been manifold in the recent months, the enhancement in the price of gas cylinder has been for the third time to Rs 100 during this month thus literally burdening the consumers of the national capital inviting widespread criticism.
It may be recalled that there had been tremendous protests at the pan India level against the skyrocketing prise rise in petroleum products leading to overall inflation in essential commodities compounded with the chaos due to the three month old farmers agitation still going on with about ninety farmers having died during the ongoing struggle demanding repeal of the three farm laws n enactment of a concrete law on MSP.
The oil marketing companies had enhanced the prise of non subsidised LPG cylinder by Rs. 50 in the metropolitan cities on 15 th February with LPG cylinders’ prises increased by Rs 25 on 14 th of February.
The Congress party leaders have accused the ruling government at the centre for imposing excise duties n other taxes worth of Rs 20 lakh crores on the Petro products till date leading countrymen to suffer badly n adversely due to the repeated prise rise since the BJP led NDA government came to power.
The Congress leaders said that when Dr. Manmohan Singh was the prime minister the crude oil’s international price per barrel was 110 dollars n the petrol was 71 Rs a litre but today when the international crude oil price per barrel is nearly sixty dollar, nearly half of the rate than what was during Dr. Singh’s tenure thevper litre petrol prise has exorbitantly touched even Rs 100 in some parts of the country with Diesal at Rs eighty. It may be recalled that the prices of Diesal n petrol are all time high and so are the rates of the domestic cooking gas literally breaking the backbones of the poor consumers.
