Ram Mandir issue to dominate in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand elections

In Uttarakhand elections, which are expected to be held in the initial months of 2022 with the five year tenure of Uttarakhand govt coming to an end on 23 rd March, it is absolutely clear that Ram Mandir issue would dominate the forthcoming elections with BJP trying to allegedly exploit it to the maximum to derive maximum political advantage.

The visit of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to Ayodhya, participating in various rituals, holding Arti at Saryu Nadi, visiting Hanuman Gadi temple and RamTemple offering prayers with meetings and interactions with the chairman of Ram Janna Bhoomi Thirty Kshetra Trust Mahant Nritya Gopal Das etc has unambiguously given a message to the electorates of Uttarakhand of his full “Shraddha’, in Lord Rama and the historic temple under construction to remind them once again about the saffron party’s commitment to honour their protracted aspiration for constructing Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

The inhabitants of Uttarakhand, known as the land of abode of Gods and destination of four historic Dhams are primarily God fearing having tremendous faith in Hindu religion and the saffron party which has won with historic 67 seats last time riding on Hindu wave and Modi charisma.

This time too the BJP leadership is revising the previous experiment playing the Hindu Card to impress upon the electorates in the ensuing elections say political analysts.

It may be recalled that the chief minister of Uttarakhand n it’s state leadership had already taken a vow of getting more than 60 assembly seats in Uttarakhand and the slogans were raised by the CM in Ayodhya during his visit saying ” AB KI BAAR SAATH PAAR” ( THIS TIME MORE THAN SIXTY SEATS.

The chief minister has posted good number of pictures of his Ayodhya visit in saffron wear with Dupatta of Shri Ram with number of tweets posting several pictures as below. He inspected the Ram Temple construction work, inaugurated the Bhumi Pujan of a world class Dharamshala, met RSS and Vishwa Hindi Parishad seniors, and saints and sought their blessings to sent across the clear cut message of the BJP with regard to Ram Temple especially when the state elections are round the corner in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab etc.

Political analysts say that in view of the apprehensions of anti establishment factor going against the party the central and state leadership is revitalising the Ram Temple issue in Uttar Pradesh as well as Uttarakhand to derive maximum mileage during the ensuing elections.

The Bharatiya Janata Party is in no mood to take any political risk in the state elections and therefore it is using all tactical strategies to ensure that it returns back to power in the state come what may, having an added advantage of AAM Admi Party proactively coming into the fray likely to harm Congress than the saffron party with its committed vote bank remaining intact.
