The chief minister Delhi and national convenor of AAP Arvind Kejriwal has held several largely attended meetings in Gujarat and addressed several rallies claiming to form its government with majority.
The minister for social welfare, corporations, SC, ST Welfare and Gurudwara elections Rajendra Pal Gautam was confronting lots of opposition from BJP for his presence in a conversion event in which 300 persons were allegedly converted to Budhism.
A video clip has gone viral in social media in which the Delhi Social Welfare minister Rajendra Pal Gautam was allegedly seen denouncing deities of majority community with BJP accusing the minister as Anti Hindu leader and AAP as anti Hindu Party.
This event was held in the national capital on 5 th October titled “Ghar Vapsi in Budhism”, under the banner of Jai Bhim.
A video clip of this event was shared in the Facebook page of the minister Mr. Gautam.
The Delhi social welfare minister who’d send in his resignation letter had tweeted : Today is the Prakatotsav of Maharishi Balmiki as well as the death anniversary of Kanshi Ram Saheb. Today while I got salvation from several bondings , I got a new birth as well. Now I will be able to carry forward my struggle/ fight against repression and rights without any bonding tweeted Social Welfare minister Rajendra Pal Gautam.
After this event of conversion and alleged paying of dis respects to Hindu deities by the AAP minister in Delhi government , the BJP activists in Gujarat on Saturday pasted posters in large numbers exhibiting Delhi CM and national convenor of AAP Arvind Kejriwal in skull cap.
Arvind Kejriwal had widely campaigned in favour of AAP candidates in Gujarat on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Rajendra Pal Gautam who tendered his resignation as Delhi social welfare minister while castigating the saffron party said I have full faith in Budhism. He questioned – pointing towards BJP – why should they have any objection. Indian Constitution gives everybody right to follow any religion of their choice. He said – the BJP is doing all this because they are badly afraid of Aam Admi Party’s increasing influence and may go even to the extent of lodging fake cases against them.
