The controversy that started after objectionable tweets and statements on television channels finally allegedly leading to lynching of a tailor Kanahiya lal in Udaipur and a veterinary chemist in Maharashtra resulting in several arrests including seven by NIA in Udaipur case has taken a new turn today after the Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot made a startling revelation that some leaders of BJP had phoned to the police station for the release of the culprit of Kanahiyal Lal tailor, Riyaz. According to him this was revealed by the landlord of the accused.The Rajasthan CM allegedly accused some BJP leaders phoning to officers in police station seeking the release of the killers. In the past to there had been several charges of these culprits allegedly belonging to BJP with Riyaz attending several public meetings and programmes of the former Rajasthan home minister Gulab Singh Kataria according to Navbharat. The vociferous spokesman of Congress Pawan Khera too had in his press conference blamed some ruling party leaders and the party saying that the culprits were earlier associated with it including alleged proximity of Riyaz Attari with several senior leaders of Rajasthan including a minister in whose meeting he was usually seen.
