Rahul Gandhi castigates the BJP led government for skyrocketing inflation and massive unemployment saying that they are spreading hatred due to fear !
The former Congress president Rahul Gandhi today addressed a massive public meeting at Ram Lila ground, in Delhi organised by Congress against the skyrocketing price rise castigating the BJP led NDA government and prime minister Narendra Modi on twin issues of allround inflation and massive unemployment including spreading hatred in the country.
Extremely vociferous Congress leader Rahul Gandhi while condemning n criticising the government for the massive unemployment and uncontrollable inflation who returned Delhi on Saturday evening from abroad said that the present government is hell bent upon spreading hatred and anger in the country because it is in the state of extreme fear and those who live in fear deliberately create hatred to divert people’s attention from real issues like skyrocketing inflation, unemployment and misgovernance.
Looking happy over the massive attendance of Congress men from Delhi, Haryana, UP, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Chattisgarh and Rajasthan etc at the anti inflation rally former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi said the poor, hapless n those from the lowest ebb of the society are the worst sufferers including farmers, low n middle businessman and the working class people hailing from construction business.
He said hatred leads to the division n weakening of the nation. He castigated the prime minister Narendra Modi for demonetisation and GST and asked the people whether they were benefitted from demonetisation n GST getting a huge reply of no from the crowd.
He said that the poor n those from the down trodden sections of the society suffered the most during demonetisation and now from excessively increased inflation in essential commodities including domestic gas the rates of which have touched skies.
He mentioned about each n every item from the stage and compared their rates before 2014 from flour to petro products to essential commodities like vegetable oils, lentils etc.
He catagorically said that the judiciary, media and election Commission etc are under tremendous pressure, threat and apprehensions.
The Modi government is afraid of increasing inflation, massive unemployment leading to the fear of losing future political prospects.
It is therefore spreading hatred in the country he added.
Castigating the ruling party for not allowing the opposition to speak in Parliament and creating bottlenecks on the way of free expression and dissent he said that it is trying hard to block all our ways.
Hence we’ll have to go to the people to seek their all round support and blessings.
There had never been such a skyrocketing inflation during the last seven decades , the common man is in extreme distress, the government is only worried to please its two ultra capitalist friends encouraging cronyism and their loans worth lakhs of crores have been remitted/ excused while the poor, farmers n people of the lower echelons of the society are reeling under extreme poverty.
It is only the Congress party that can save them from this impending crisis said Rahul Gandhi not this government nor the two capitalist friends of PM Modi.
Speaking on the partisan role of the enforcement directorate and the central bureau of investigation pre strategically targetting the opposition leaders to curb their voices of dissent, former Congress president Rahul Gandhi said that he is least afraid of them. He said : I was interrogated for 55 hours by ED. Let me tell them they can make me sit for five years, I am not afraid of them he added. He spoke against two ultra rich capitalists in particular saying that today they have captured all the airports, oil companies and mobile business of the country though not naming them, but obviously indicating toward Ambani and Adani.
He catagorically said that the benefit of the hatred and fear is being exploited by these two industrialists who can’t give jobs to them while the poor people are badly suffering and the nation is being weakened.
The Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot said the ruling party is doing politics in the name of religion. He termed the BJP government as fascist. They are misusing the ED, IT n CBI to victimise the opposition leaders said Gehlot. They are trying to terrorise everyone but we will face them strongly and with determination he said.
The Chattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel said Rahul Gandhi is a messiah of the poor who always talks for the welfare and well being of the farmers, youths, poor, working class n middle class. If we give free ration to the poor the BJP terms it as freebies and if they remit the loans of the ultra rich it is nothing.
The leader of the opposition Malikarjun Khadge termed the BJP government as the government of the deaf and dumb n blind not ready to discuss on any burning issue of the country. He read a poetry saying the salary has gone in buying ration, some money spent on medicine, some on karz, some on children’s education due to excessive inflation leading to everyone crying for every pie.
Jairam Ramesh criticised the BJP government for crushing people of the country under inflation and massive unemployment. Unemployment and inflation are the two brothers of PM Modi he said.
Before the start of the anti inflation rally Rahul Gandhi tweeted in hindi : The countrymen have to think twice before purchasing any item, they are overburdened by skyrocketing inflation. The PM is responsible for the woes of the countrymen as the king is busy in making profit for ultra rich friends and people suffering from inflation. The Congress workers in full enthusiastic mode were wearing caps, scarfs etc with Rahul Gandhi pictures raising slogans hailing him in large numbers. It was just a coincidence that while Rahul Gandhi was addressing the Delhi Congress rally his bete noire Ghulam Nabi Azad was addressing his new party formation rally in Jammu assuring them to get their rights back saying that he has been assured by the J n K LG to restore the full statehood rights in the near future recommending their demands to the centre.
