After the skyrocketing price of petrol, diesal and milk, the price of domestic gas has also been enhanced to Rs. 25 per cylinder putting yet another burden on the shoulders of the already burdened middle class, lower middle class and those living at the lowest ebb of the society, having already lost their jobs and small businesses during the Covid lockdown due to the negative impact on the nation’s economy as well.
After the increase of Rs 25 on every non subsidised cylinder of domestic gas its cylinder will now cost at Rs. 834.50 instead of Rs. 809 measuring 14.2 kilogram.

On 29th June former Congress president Rahul Gandhi tweeted in Hindi when the apex court in its decision directed Central govt to pay financial compendation to the bereaved families who’d lost their family members infected by Covid. He tweeted : The supreme court has given an opportunity to Modi government to correct its mistakes. At least now the government should decide on an adequate compensation figure and adequately compensate the victims of Covid. This is a timely and significant decision he tweeted lauding the supreme court of India.
