The AAM Admi Party government in Punjab led by its newly appointed chief minister Bhagwant Maan has fulfilled its first promise just within two days of the its government formally coming into existence.
After the swearing in of ten ministers by the Punjab Governor Banwari Lal Purohit today, the chief minister Bhagwant Maan convened his newly appointed cabinet committee meeting and within minutes passed the orders for giving 25 thousand jobs to the unemployed youths in the state in government services of various departments and corporations. This revolutionary decision taken within minutes during its first cabinet meeting by the AAP government in Punjab comprise of ten thousand jobs in Punjab Police department and 15 thousand jobs in various government departments and corporations.
In his address to the people of Punjab concluding his speech with Inquilab Zindabad slogan raising his fist, the newly elected standing comedian turned MP n then CM Bhagwant Maan recollected how his party had promised to accord employment to unemployed youths and fulfill various other demands in view of the flame of their “Chulhas, extinguishing.
In a video posted in his twitter handle Punjab CM Maan said that their government has after taking charge immediately come into action starting with opening twenty five thousand government jobs to unemployed youths as promised, in a month’s time government notifications etc would be implemented forthwith.
He assured that transparency will be adhered to in the appointments with no place for bribery, jacks and red tapism.
He catagorically said that jobs will be given according to the deserving cases as per their qualifications and required degrees.
There won’t be any fishy process in the selection of the candidates he asserted.
He further assured that this is a start and all the rest of the pre election assurances given to the people will be fulfilled shortly in the near future appealing the Punjab electorates to give them some time.
It may be recalled that in Punjab Aam Admi Party has secured a historic majority getting 92 seats out of 117 not ever sought by any other party since 1966.
The party had assured the people of Punjab earlier to give them free electricity to consumers of three hundred units on monthly basis including Rs 1000 emoluments to every women attaining the age of 18 years including overall development of Punjab and improving the health and education sector etc as well.
Meanwhile, in a tweet Punjab CM Bhagwant Maan wrote : Chaired the first cabinet meeting. The Punjab cabinet has approved notification of 25000 job vacancies within one month. As we promised before the election, jobs opportunities for our Punjab youth will be the topmost priority of AAP Govt tweeted Punjab CM.
When Bhagwant Mann became MP, he proved that he is not a comedian alone but is serious representative of the people of his parliamentary seat. Now when he has merited for CM, he will prove to be the choice of entire Punjab. As he has announced 25000 jobs in the state; he will make sure fair and free selection of deserving candidates. Drinking won’t affect his ability, Ibam sure. He will not be influenced by any out side force.
