Protests by annoyed electorates of Choubattakhal against its lawmaker and minister Satpal Maharaj
Good number of residents of Chowbattakhal assembly constituency represented by the Uttarakhand minister of Tourism and PWD Satpal Maharaj have protested in view of the increasing attacks of maneaters on villagers, children , women and senior citizens leading to several tragic deaths and non fulfilment of their grievances related to various other local Developmental issues. Several villagers in view of the increasing maneater attacks are highly apprehensive of future serious consequences by maneater attacks and are leaving villages said he protestors.
They were especially annoyed wiyh Satpal Maharaj the area MLA and tourism n PWD minister of Uttarakhand who according to them is not attending to their grievances and works related to local development despite the hard fact that they have been voting him for the last two terms said the protestors.
They demanded their safeguards from the maneater attacks and regular visits of Satpal Maharaj in their constituency failing which they will have resort to more and more agitational approach. The Jila Panchayat newly elected member , vociferous Poonam Kaintora was also present on this ocassion.
