Popular theatre, television and Bollywood actor who had worked in Mahabharat, Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu thee, Byomesh Bakshi, CBI n several other TV serials Rasik Dave yesterday breathed his last after suffering from prolonged kidney ailment at the age of 65. He is survived by his actor wife Ketaki Dave, a daughter and a son. Rasik Dave who started his acting career from Gujarati film Putra Vadhu has also worked in Nach Baliye, a popular reality dancing TV show with his actress wife Ketki apart from popular, Mahabharat, Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu thee, Byomesh Bakshi, CBI, etc. The demise of a prominent actor due to Kidney failure has left a huge void behind in theatre and television industry sending shock wave all around. Several prominent figures of TV entertainment industry and Bollywood have expressed their shock and deep condolences on his demise. In a tweet Ashoke Pandit wrote : Sad to know about the sad demise of a dear friend Rasik Dave who was a versatile actor on stage, TV and films due to kidney failure.
