Priyanka pays tributes to martyred farmers n journo st Lakhimpur Khiri on Tuesday
The Congress general secretary and genuinely concerned and hurt by the tragic incidents in Lakhimpur Kheeri on 2 nd October, the day of father of the nation’s anniversary, a symbol of non violence, Priyanka Gandhi on Tuesday visited Lakhimpur Khiri again and participated in the “Antim Ardas”, of the martyred farmers and a journalist Raman Kashyap paying her richest heartfelt tributes. The Congress general secretary posting four photographs with a tweet wrote : Lakhimpur : Paid my heartfelt tributes by participating in the “Antim Ardas”, prayers held in honour of the martyred farmers and a journalist Ram Kashyap and parted my grief.This relentless struggle will come to end only when the farmers and journalist Raman Kashyap will get due justice tweeted Priyanka Gandhi.

In the pictures posted Congress general secretary is seen bowing down in reverence in front of the pious Takht sahib, n in another pictures paying floral tributes to all the deceased farmers including in confabulation with a injured farmer, sitting under the huge with hundreds of farmers, majority of them Sikhs, present paying their tributes hearing Gurbani.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Congress leaders comprising of several prominent senior leaders like A.K.Antony, Ghulam Nabi Azad, K.C.Venugopal, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Surjewala etc will be going to meet the president Ram Nath Kovind on Lakhimpur Khiri incident to request him to dismiss the state home minister as well as arrest all the culprits responsible for the tragedy of Lakhimpur Khiri on 2nd October accusing the ruling party. The Indian Youth Congress too had organised number of protest demonstrations, candle marches and Main Best in New Delhi expressing their solidarity with the agitating farmers, sanding arrest of the culprits of Lakhimpur Khiri and resignation of the minister. Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi had been arrested and kept in preventive custody at PAC Guest house for one n a half days. She had later on met the martyred families along with Rahul Gandhi and expressed their deepest condolences assuring the families of their fight till the end.
