PRIYANKA GANDHI SLAMS BJP FOR MISLEADING PEOPLE IN THE NAME OF MAJORITY APPEASEMENT
The Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi today raised all significant burning issues like the most tragic Ankita Bhandari case, massive unemployment, skyrocketing inflation, repression of the youths through Agniveer Scheme, regarding revival of old pension scheme if Congress comes to power, women insecurity and deterioration of law and order including massive corruption through electoral bonds and incessant torture of opposition leaders sending them to jails arbitrarily with the sole aim of political Vendetta. Priyanka Gandhi was addressing a massive public meeting at Ram Nagar at Peerumadaar in favour of Congress candidates. She appealed to the voters to vote for absolute change this time as enough is enough now.
The spokeswoman of Uttarakhand Congress Garima Mehra Dasauni lauded the speech of Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi and said that she has most appropriately raised all the important issues and given the campaign a most enthusiastic and constructive turn. She said that the Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi is the sole leader campaigning for the Congress candidates in Uttarakhand as a lioness where as from the BJP side the heavyweights like PM Narendra Modi , union ministers, national party chief and top brass is campaigning on issues of polarisation in the name of religion but Priyanka is dominating the political arena in Uttarakhand said Uttarakhand Congress spokesperson Garima Mehra Dasauni.
Lauding the successful rally of Priyanka Gandhi Dasauni said that she has shown mirror to all the top brass BJP leaders who are misguiding and befooling the electorates in the name of majority community polarisation and appeasement. She accused the top leadership for diverting the attention of the electorates from the core issues and attacking the opposition including arresting their leaders by misusing the law enforcing and investigating agencies like CBI, ED and IT etc. The Congress leader said the BJP leadership accuses the Gandhi family of dynastic politics, but I want to tell you that for the last thirty years not a single member of the family ruled this country despite ample opportunities. We have served the nation and sacrificed one after another. We want nothing from you but we will continue to serve our countrymen said Priyanka Gandhi while lauding the sacrifice of the brave soldiers of Kumaon and Garhwal who are serving the Indian Army and sacrificing themselves for the country. Priyanka Gandhi said that Modiji has not done any sacrifice for the country but the brave soldiers of Garhwal and Kumaon regions have sacrificed themselves for the country. She said on the one hand they accuse us of dynastic rule and in the other hand taking leaders under their field from our party.
Highlighting the vindictive attitude of the ruling party government and its alleged neck deep immersion in corruption Congress General secretary Priyanka Gandhi raised various burning issues like alleged massive corruption through electoral bonds, Ankita Bhandari case, skyrocketing inflation, unemployment, Agniveer, Old pension scheme and victimisation of the farmers in the country and Uttarakhand.
After the largely attending enthusiastic public meeting and Priyanka’s firebrand speech the Congress leaders, activists and the people seemed to be extremely energetic and proactive with their sagging morale and confidence revived said Dasauni. Terming the rally of Ram Nagar addressed by Priyanka Gandhi as one of the most successful rallies Dasauni said the Congress leader has brought the election based on constructive issues rather than issues based on religious polarisation as raised by the BJP leaders to misguide and befool the electorates of Uttarakhand. Congress spokesperson Dasauni said that the BJP star campaigners have been misguiding and befooling people diverting their attention from the core issues but Priyanka Gandhi raised serious and pro people issues at the public meeting.
Priyanka Gandhi accused the Bhartiya Janata Party for abolishing the old pension scheme and said that they have no right to be in power, assuring the electorates that if Congress comes to power it will revive this scheme immediately. She said wherever the Congress governments are ruling, the old pension scheme has been implemented. Speaking on the Congress Nyay Patra ” MENIFESTO”, Priyanka Gandhi announced that the Congress party will give Rs One Lakh as apprenticeship to the educated youths in the country so that they can run their families with ease. She cautioned the people saying that those who misguide and befool them in the name of religious fundamentalism and polarisation or appeasement they are their real enemies, beware of them.
She said now the people have already tested them, enough is enough. The dictatorial government should be uprooted as they haven’t given employment to the youths of the country nor delivered an efficient government. You should vote for the government that guarantees employment, better health facilities, accords social and economic security, bringing down inflation and guaranteeing enlightened future of the youth. You should elect a government on which you can feel proud said Priyanka Gandhi.
Priyanka Gandhi appealed to the voters to make Congress candidates viz Ganesh Godiyal from Garhwal , Pradeep Tamta from Almora and Prakash Joshi from Nainital parliamentary constituencies. All the said candidates were on the dias with the Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi including Yashpal Arya, Karan Mahara, Govind Singh Kunjwal n others.
