Prime minister Narendra Modi congratulates Rier Starmer, the new PM and praises the leadership of Rishi Sunak
The labour party of United Kingdom has won a landslide victory in England and the Conservatives who’d ruled there for 14 long years have lost badly.
Out of the results of 658 seats declared so far, the Labour Party under its leader Kier Starmer has secured 421 seats against the tally of mere 121 of the Tories.
Winning so handsomely after 14 years being in opposition, while the Labour Party has come to power, its leader Rier Starmer is all set to be the new Prime minister of United Kingdom.
The loss of Tories is mainly being felt due to the dismal performance of the outgoing prime minister Rishi Sunak , the son in law of IT manganite Narayan Murti especially due to economic instability in the country followed by inflation, drastic water situation, its privatisation, migration, govt’s incompetence on various fronts, Tories support to Israel and on Brexit as well.
United Kingdome has always been a traditional friend of India during all government right from Congress era led by late PM Indira Gandhi to the present era led by prime minister Narendra Modi. Prime minister Narendra Modi has lost no opportunity to congratulate the Labour Party leader and future prime minister of United Kingdom Rier Starmer hoping that it will continue to be India’s best friend looking forward for UK’s positive and constructive cooperation to strengthen the Indo UK strategic partnership.
