Prime minister meets Kapoor family at his residence, gives autograph to Kareena and poses for pictures
The entire Kapoor family of Bollywood today met the prime minister Narendra Modi and extended him the invitation for being the chief guest in the prestigious R.K.Film Festival slated for 14 th December on the ocassion of the centenary year of the legendary Bollywood super star , director and producer, Dada Saheb Phalke prestigious award recipient Raj Kapoor. The prime minister’s residence was fully star-studded with Randhir Kapoor conspicuous by his absence probably because of his singing health. The jubilant prominent heroine Kareena Kapoor took the autograph of Prime minister Narendra Modi. The PM interacted with all the Kapoor family members comprising of Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Singh Kapoor, Karishma Kapoor, Rima Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ridhima Kapoor and Babita. The Kapoor family members have shared their photographs with prime minister Narendra Modi in social media. After interaction the prime minister posed for a group photograph with the Kapoor family and may have accorded his consent to grace the occasion as the chief guest. It may be recalled that the legendary showman and actor, producer, director Raj Kapoor had died due to an asthmatic attack in Delhi’s Sri fort auditorium in New Delhi on 2nd June 1988 after being admitted in All India Institute of Medical Sciences sending shock waves among his billion of fans globally. Kindly recall that Raj Kapoor, who has won more than 17 prestigious awards including 11 Filmfare and 3 Dada Saheb Phalke awards, has worked as a hero in more than 70 films. Raj Kapoor has also been the biggest superstar of his time. Prime minister Narendra Modi giving so much of time to this prestigious Bollywood family speaks of the fact that even the HOD of the government holds them in high esteem despite the entire Bollywood.
