PRIME MINISTER CELEBRATES DIWALI WITH NAVY, ARMY AND AIRFORCE PERSONNEL AT KUTCH, GUJARAT

Prime minister Narendra Modi as every year, this year also celebrated Deepawali with the bravehearts of India Army, Navy and airforce personnel in Kutch, Gujarat.

The prime minister distributed the soldiers and officers sweets interacted with them joyfully, heard their experiences and also addressed them on the ocassion of pious Deepawali.

During the past years he had celebrated Deepawali with the Indian Army bravehearts at the Garhwal, Kumaon borders, Uttarakhand , Himachal Pradesh border posts and in Naushera, Jammu and Kashmir, in Kargil border etc.

This year he celebrated Deewali in Kutch with the soldiers , meeting and interacting with them, sharing experiences and parting with joyous moments.

In a tweet he wrote on her social media handle X : Glad to have celebrated Diwali with our brave personnel from the BSF, Army, Navy, and Air Force at Lakki Nala in the Creek Area, Kutch. This area is both challenging and remote. The days are scorching hot and it also gets cold. The Creek area has other environmental challenges as well further adding that our security personnel stand firm in the inhospitable of places and protect us. We are very proud of them.
Taking cue and inspiration from prime minister Narendra Modi the Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also went to Lansdowne Garhwal Rifles headquarters and gave the bravehearts of Garhwal Rifles regiment Deepawali greetings. He also interacted with them and addressed a meeting of the soldiers and officers distributing them sweets and exchanging pleasentaries.

The family members were also present in this ocassion. The Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami wrote on X and posted pictures of his meeting with the Garhwal Rifles bravehearts. He said : The role of the soldiers and their families who are dedicated day and night in the service of Maa Bharati is highly commendable. Being a son of a soldier, reaching among the soldiers and celebrating the festival of Deepawali is an unforgettable moment for me. Our soldiers have always displayed unparalleled courage and sacrifice to protect the country. Our government is committed to the welfare of soldiers and their families said Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
