President Ram Nath Kovind bows down and touches the soil in reverrence at his village
The president of India visited his birthplace Paraunkh and Pukhrayan town in Kanpur to take part in various programmes. Reaching his village in the rural area in a helicopter President Ram Nath Kovind in a rare emotional gesture bowed down at the helipad and touched the soil to pay his obiesance to the land of his birth where he was brought up drawing inspiration to finally achieve the highest position as the first citizen of the largest democracy of the world.
During his official visit to Uttar Pradesh which will last for 5 days, he met number of important dignitories and friends welcomed by the governor Mrs Patel and CM Yogi Adityanath.
The most important touching moment of his visit was meeting his old friend Krishna Kumar Agrawal at his house in Kanpur who was was ill n recuperating. The cavalcade of president Kovind reached his house from Circuit house where he met his two friends. The president in an emotional gesture said I was extremely worried to learn about your health and was anxious to meet you.
Seeing you in person satisfied me a lot said jubilant president. He added that I haven’t come here in my capacity as a president but as a friend of decades.
According to the latest news the president was extremely happy to meet another friend in the house of Krishna Kumar agrawal aka Munnabhai namely Madhusudan Goyal who had come there from his village Pukhrayan.
All the three friends exchanged pleasentaries and reminiscenced their old friendship.
According to the latest news his friendship with Munababu was so strong that he had invited him to the swearing in ceremony as Bihar governor.
According to Hindustan Madhusdan Goyal their friendship is so emotional that he was also invited at Rashtrapti Bhawan seated behind PM Narendra Modi in the second row.
In a series of tweets President Ram Nath Kovind wrote : Where ever I live the fragrance of the soil of my village and affection of my villagers always remain intact in my heart. For me Paraunkh is not only a village but my place of birth from where I always derived inspiration to serve the nation.
For me my elders are always my parents and am proud that my family still respects the elders irrespective of their caste, colour and religion, maintaining the high tradition. It is this same birth place n blesdings n effection of my elders n villagers which led me to achieve great heights as lawyer, governor n finally the president of India tweeted President Ram Nath Kovind.
