President, PM n union defence minister condole the death of 7 Army personel in a bus accident in Shyok river, Ladakh. Assured of all possible help to the injured.

There is an extremely disheartening, tragic, traumatic and shocking news that seven bravehearts of India Army has been martyred today in Leh Ladakh union territory. According to the very saddening news an Army bus in the line of duty carrying in all twenty six dare devil patriotic bravehearts fell into a gorge, in which 7 jawans were martyred due to grievous injuries and rest severely injured. The Army bus fell down in the Shyok river of Ladakh grievously injuring 19 jawans who are in critical condition. The accident occurred in the morning hours near Turtuk, Nubra in Ladakh sending shock waves in the country. According to the latest news twenty six soldiers of Marathi Li were moving in an Army bus from Partapur Transit camp to to a forward location in Sub Sector Hanif in Turtuk sector yesterday morning. The injured soldiers were shifted to Chandigarh after necessary first aid by Army Aircraft. The president of India Ramnath Kovind expressed his deepest condolences through a tweet saying saddened to know that an unfortunate road accident in Ladakh has claimed the lives of our brave soldiers. My heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased.

I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured tweeted President of India. The prime minister Narendra Modi tweeted : Anguished by the bus accident in Ladakh in which we have lost our brave army personel. My thoughts are with the bereaved families. I hope those injured recover at the earliest . All possible assistance is being given to the affected tweeted PM Narendra Modi. The Union defence minister Rajnath Singh while expressing his deepest condolences on the sad demise of Army personel n injured tweeted : Deeply saddened by the loss of lives of our brave Indian Army personel due to the Bus tragedy in Ladakh. We will never forget their exemplary service to our nation. My condolences to the bereaved families and prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured tweeted defence minister Mr. Singh. He also added that he spoke to the Indian Army chief and apprised himself of the situation saying that all possible assistance is being accorded to the injured personel.
