President Kovind undergoes cardiac bypass surgery at AIIMS

The president Ram Nath Kovind underwent a bypass cardiac Surgery on TUESDAY at All India Institute of Medical Sciences. The 75 year old president of India Ram Nath Kovind had complained of stiffness and pain in the chest prior to being recommended for admission in AIIMS Cardiac department for urgent medical examination and subsequent surgery. After complaining of stiffness, pain n congestion in the chest he was admitted in Research and Referral Army hospital, in Delhi Cantt where he was thoroughly examined by top cardiac surgeons. However, he was thereafter shifted to AIIMS Cardiac department after some complications. The president underwent cardiac bypass surgery on Tuesday morning and his condition is reported to be stable and satisfactory as per the AIIMS Cardiac department’s news bulletin. According to the statement issued by Rashtrapati Bhawan : The president of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind underwent cardiac bypass surgery ( today morning, on 30th March, 2021 ) at AIIMS, NEW DELHI. He is stable and being closely monitored by a team of senior doctors said the Rashtrapati Bhawan communique. The union home minister Amit Shah tweeted : Glad to learn about Rashtrapati hi Ram Nath Kovind Ji’s successful bypass surgery at AIIMS, NEW DELHI. May each day bring him renewed strength. My good wishes and prayers for his speedy recovery @ Rashtrapatibhawan, tweeted Amit Shah. The Maharashtra governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari also wished the president speedy recovery n expressed his pleasure over the successful completion of his cardiac bypass surgery.

Maharashtra governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari tweeted, he came to know about the deterioration in health of Hon’ble President. I pray for his speedy recovery he tweeted.
