A powerful landslide occurred this morning near Shilai village in Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh. The landslide was so massive that tins of rocks after bursting naturally came down with a bang with several car owners running away to save their lives. The landslides are usually coming during the monsoons but this summer too several landslides occurred in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh on road sides particularly because during the widening of roads the roadside rocky mountains which are shattered from inside due to drilling etc falling down massively killing human lives with boulders also falling down on the vehicular traffic. This is a consistent process of mishappening on roads especially the highways where the road widening works continuously goes on. The tourists and even the locals need to be very very careful especially during the monsoons as coming into the grip of landslides leaves no opportunity to survive.
