Poster of Garhwali-Hindi Film “Dastaan – The Untold Story” Unveiled at PVR Dwarka
New Delhi, November 4: [Prof.S.S.Dogra] Rajat Raj Films Productions unveiled the first-look poster of its upcoming Garhwali-Hindi feature film “Dastaan – The Untold Story” at PVR Cinema, Audi No. 9, Vegas Mall, Sector 14, Dwarka, during a special event held on Tuesday afternoon.
The film, directed by Shivnarayan Singh Rawat and produced by Rajat Raj Malhotra, who also plays the lead role, explores the rich cultural roots and emotional depth of Uttarakhand. Samm Chaudhary Jalotiya is associated with the project as the Associate Director and Screenplay writer.
Shot across the scenic locales of Uttarakhand, the film aims to showcase the state’s natural beauty and heritage. It will be released first in Garhwali, followed by a Hindi version to reach a wider audience.
Speaking at the launch, director Shivnarayan Singh Rawat said,
> “‘Dastaan’ is not just a film but the voice of Uttarakhand’s soul — an attempt to reconnect people with their roots and homeland.”
The film also stars Yatendra Johri, Meena Vats, Amarjeet Singh, Satinder Paul, Anil Sharma and Adarsh Bairagi in prominent roles. The event was attended by members of the film fraternity, media, and distinguished personalities from the Uttarakhand community.
