Popular Punjabi singer, rapper Moosewala cremated amid anti government slogans n slogans hailing him, at his native village Mansa
The prominent Punjabi singer n rapper Sidhu Moosewala carrying behind him a following of 1.7 crores as subscribers shot dead on Sunday near his village Mansa while he was travelling in his Thar vehicle with two friends have been cremated today at his native village Mansa in the presence of hundreds of his fans, relatives, near n dear ones and the local populace raising slogans hailing him and anti government slogans as well.
Hit 24 times by AK 47 bullets on his chest and abdomen, extremely popular Punjabi singer had also contested the recently held Punjab assembly election as the Congress candidate having lost to Vijay Singla of AAP, former minister, by a massive margin of more than 1.6 lakh votes.
Among hundreds of his fans and well wishers in tears at his village Mansa several Congress leaders and singers participated in his cremation who included popular singer Gurdeep Singh Mann, Punjab Congress chief Amrinder Singh Raja etc.
There was quite a commotion during his cremation with slogans also raised against the government and the Punjab police had a hard time controlling the mob also lathicharging them.
The traumatic unfortunate parents of the deceased were in tears and his mother trying to console Sidhu’s, father wiping his tears with hanker chief.
His anguished father was seen holding the coffin and shaping his dead son’s moustache.
He in tears took out his turban holding it in front of everyone, urging for justice for his son’s diabolical murder.
The presence of unaccounted number of anguished fans at his cremation in tears exhibited the immense popularity of deceased Punjabi singer n rapper Sidhu Moosewala.
In Canada, Brampton also his fans held condolence meetings including in several parts of Canada n other nations to grieve the death of their most adorable singer.
